3/ I cannot stress enough how FUTILE it is to "raise awareness" to suicide and blabber about suicide prevention if health insurance companies are not LEGALLY FORCED to cover anything related to suicide risk.
4/ We know that successful suicides are preceded by a series of actions, including attempts that will go unnoticed until insurance companies are not forced to cover them.
5/ The chief suture method for unsuccessful suicide attempts by wrist slashing is duct tape. Not stitches: duct tape. The scars will be the result of "clumsy accidents" (since an attempted suicide can be the end of your career, for example).
6/ Until we don't rip out the last fragments of Christian murderous moralism from society, suicide rates will increase.
7/ It's time to punish hypocrisy and decriminalize self-inflicted injuries. It's time to acknowledge the burden of new suicides resulting from oppressive social conditions.
8/ It's time to scrub on everybody's face that there is a large number of suicides resulting from impossible environments and stop chasing the mental distress egg and the trauma chicken: they are one and the same.
