This proposed vaping ban is ridiculous. The deaths have been reportedly caused by THC related Vape products not flavored or menthol nicotine products. In this Vaping fear craze is everyone forgetting that cigarettes and alcohol kill far more people??? Not a good move.
The people who back vaping bans: Big tobacco, Nanny state Democrats and Moms upset they found their not properly monitored teenager got their hands on a Vape pen. Let adults make their own choices and do a better job monitoring your kids if you’re a parent concerned about vaping.
This is a move I totally oppose from a pure freedom standpoint. People should be free to use Vape products, tobacco, alcohol & marijuana in the privacy of their home if they feel like it. I don’t smoke cigarettes or MJ and only drink on special occasions but I believe in freedom.

Kamala Harris actually had the gall to say she didn’t hear this guy. That’s how she defended her response of "*laughs* well said". @KamalaHarris thinks you’re all stupid and can’t see that she very clearly heard this man. 🙄
I don’t care that the guy said it really, it’s a basic sort of stupidity I tend to ignore. What matters is @KamalaHarris reacted instantly by pretending everyone is crazy or stupid. Why is it so hard to just be real? Robotic, focus tested politicians are the past not the future.
Here’s the video where @KamalaHarris treats everyone like they’re stupid as she tries *poorly* to convince the public that she didn’t hear her rally attendee who said Trump was mentally retarded even though she responded directly to him saying "well said".

Pete Buttigieg is comparing climate change to WWII. "This is on par with World War II, perhaps even more challenging than that."

They think climate policies are on par with defeating Nazis who murdered millions of Jews. You can’t reason with this idiocy.

World War 3 memoirs are gonna be weird if Democrats are ever elected.
Oh wait I get it now, the reason Mayor Pete Buttigieg is saying climate change is more challenging than World War II is because we’d have to fight World War III with China to change any effect humans have on the climate since they’re by far the worst environmental offender.

• Your healthcare
• Your speech
• Your ability to own guns (they say you can’t)
• Your car (must be electric at some point under GND)
• Your tax dollars to fund abortions and illegal immigrants

Has everyone seen the "talent" on stage at these town halls & debates? You really trust these people to decide what you can eat, what you can drink out of, what car you drive, what you’re allowed to say, if you’re allowed to defend yourself and how to care for you if you’re sick?
My family already lived in & had to flee a country where some misguided people thought this was a good idea and *spoiler alert* it didn’t turn out really well. Socialism isn’t a benign idea that doesn’t have serious ramifications. It’s malignant and in the end, Socialism kills.

epidemiology:
- mostly young men (likely reflects the population using modified vape products)
- most patients report vaping with tetrahydrocannabinol (but not all)
- generally previously healthy (2/8)

upon admission, most patients have symptoms in three domains:
1) respiratory (dyspnea, chest pain, cough)
2) GI (n/v, diarrhea, pain) - may be *dominant* symptom initially
3) constitutional (fever, chill, weight loss, fatigue)

A fisking of the opinion piece by Michelle Jongenelis (from the doghouse of @DrOliviaDoll1) in Fairfax media. No public link known (it appeared in a variety of regional newspapers around #Australia).

No mention of #BlackMarket, unregulated #cannabinoids, despite 6 US regions involved, explicitly mentioning it.

Wrong! Neither the majority of companies, nor vape sales, involve products ownership by the #TobaccoIndustry.

13 million US adults vape. Almost all are ex-smokers. Recent survey of 750 vapers found that <10% write their representatives. I'm writing now. FDA declared a teen vaping "epidemic" in 2018 based on data from the National Youth Tobacco Survey...
Raw data from that 2018 NYTS survey were just released. 2.3% of under-age non-smoking teens vaped more than 20 days/month in 2018 (so may plausibly OWN an e-cigarette). No under-age person should vape, but this "public health crisis" has been blown out of proportion...
...And anti-vaping alarums continue, sounding increasingly shrill. e.g., The FDA recently issued a press release claiming 3-4 seizures per year may-or-may-not be associated with vaping. 3-4 out of 13 million? The highest health authority in the land sounding alarms...
