I think the greatest thing about this is that renwhoeverthefuck admitted I was right, and these people are STILL fighting me about auditors having blue hair.


So it's a wig. Makes perfect sense. I don't follow any of these controversies closely at all, and I don't like 4 hour livestreams as I have better things to do with my time. I'm even happy to apologize for my caustic reaction as she and I agree re: hair
But the rest of you fucking idiots that dogpiled on going 'LOL AUDITORS HAVE TECHNICOLOR HAIR' are just making me want to ignore this entire situation even more. Everyone involved looks absolutely batshit insane to me, and my internet persona is as a drunk piece of fudge. WTF.

Economist/Yougov and SurveyUSA polls have both just come in, a day after NBC's Warrening outlier poll (again, credit to @JackPosobiec for the term).

Econ/Yougov, who typically shows the closest race, shows Biden's support rebounding and Warren slipping.

@JackPosobiec SurveyUSA, who have done primary polls infrequently but at least have done a few so far (their last was over a month ago, Aug 9), show's what's in line with the rest of the main dem primary polls. Literally no change among the top 3, ratios differing by polling methodology.

Not a lot of fresh post-debate polls for the Dems yet, but we have a state-level NY poll showing Biden up five, a Cali poll that shows Biden and Sanders tied with Warren down six.

What's most interesting, though, is the Politico/Morning Consult poll; its only one data point, so its not the full picture, but generally you can expect their methodology to remain the same so you can track the 'shifts' in opinions. But we have a post-debate poll and a pre-one.
It is showing virtually no change, a single point difference or so. Warren saw a slight bump, but its not a huge jump compared to pre-debate standings so its as much statistical white noise as anything else I would assume.

It'll be interesting to see if other polls reflect this.

With my mentions currently being flooded with people calling me bigoted, biased, and unprofessional for my disbelief of the myth of the blue haired auditor, I officially withdraw every defense I've ever made for millennials. The entire generation needs to fucking burn.
TIL protecting company records from randos that walk into the office and claim to be an auditor with a straight face while they have neon hair is 'a bit bigoted' and 'unprofessional.'

That apparently I 'don't understand auditing' over my disbelief of said mythical blue haired auditor.

Right. I'm going to have a pub reckon about free-market economics. Here we go.
I have a degree in economics and philosophy. As such, I'm working in unsatisfying admin and am so weighed down by student debt my nose scrapes the floor. However, I do occasionally Have A Reckon about things.
Economics is a fun subject. It's basically peoplemaths. The same way that formal logic is thinkingmaths. It's a set of rules, assumptions and axioms that you plug things into and get results out of.

Whorearchy is a word that’s used to describe elitism within the sex industry. Merging whore and hierarchy to create a unique word describing something that permeates every section of our industry.
Basically if we boiled it down to one simple sentence it is this:
Whorearchy is the self perpetuated class system of sex work, dividing those with privilege and those without.
