Federal prosecutors in Washington recommended that Andrew McCabe, the former second in command of the FBI and a frequent target of President Trump, be indicted. A top Justice Department official agreed, clearing the way for him to be charged. usatoday.com/story/news/pol…
Trump has been critical of McCabe for his handling of the Russia investigation. But McCabe has been under scrutiny for his role in leaking the fact that the FBI was investigating the Clinton Foundation, weeks before the 2016 election.
The recommendation that McCabe be charged is the latest fallout from the FBI's handling of investigations around the 2016 presidential election, when agents were examining both of the major-party candidates. Those probes have roiled the top ranks of the FBI.

Lewandowski: "When under oath, I've always told the truth." He won't answer the question of whether he lied to the public.

One thing Corey Lewandowski has done consistently in this hearing is vouch for the accuracy of the Mueller report as it pertains to him. On multiple occasions, he's replied to questions about his conduct with "If that's what's in the report, that's accurate."
The report said Trump instructed Lewandowski to have the attorney general limit the Russia investigation to interference in future elections, not his own. He ultimately declined to deliver that message, and asked a White House aide to do it instead. The aide also declined.
Lewandowski testified that he didn't take the president's instructions as an order.
