I LOVE the message of space resources, but I notice a few HORRIFYING things in the picture😉 First, the crater is a complex crater, not a simple crater, because it is multi-ringed & has a flat floor & a central uplift peak. These features only happen in craters bigger than 20 km.
2/ Compare the simple crater on the very bottom left edge of the picture. Simple craters are bowl-shaped with a single rim. They form when the crater is smaller than 20 km diameter. The complex crater is HORRIFYING because it provides a size scale to compare the footprints 😉
3/ Therefore we can tell that each footprint is more 20 km long. Therefore, these are not human footprints. These are GIANT extraterrestrial space invader footprints. This is a little distracting from the message of mining the Moon, since it implies we will have to fight giants.
4/ But it gets even scarier. You will notice that in the craters, the sunlight is shining from the right, but in the giant extraterrestrial footprints the sunlight is shining from the left, and on the Earth the sunlight is shining from above. There is ONLY one explanation...
5/ Apparently, the giant alien space invaders have created a rift in the spacetime continuum in our solar system, and the sunlight is diffracting around that rift so it comes from different directions. This is a portent of doom for the Earth. The interstellar war has begun!
6/ It must be a very large rift, big enough to put the Moon through. Apparently the aliens are stealing our space resources. They want to take our entire Moon. This is very distracting from the message of mining the Moon, since we won’t even have a Moon for much longer.
7/ And this explains the third horrifying thing in the picture. Yes, there is a THIRD horrifying thing in the picture...They spelled “Moon” wrong! The Moon is spelled with a capital “M” because it is the proper name for Earth’s satellite, but lower case “m” for any other moon.
8/8 The horrifyingly scary picture tells us that the giant extraterrestrial aliens already stole the Moon so now it isn’t ours any more, now it is a different planet’s moon. Apparently “Mining the moon” won’t involve humans at all! Horrors! I can’t even face this reality.
