1 There are consequences for having a dementia decaying, compromised imposter in the WH. When Trump called off the response to Iran shooting down a drone in June, ppl were relieved. I had sick feeling- not bc Trump called it off. His blunder was telling the world he called it off
2 Iran tested Trump. He failed. They became emboldened & hit SA. Iranian sanctions have hurt since Trump dumped the nuclear deal. However you feel a/b the deal, it was idiotic to ignore the downside of playing tough w/ Iran w/o considering how they can asymmetrically retaliate
3 Iran knows Trump is weak & compromised. Now his options are limited. He is paralyzed on doing a military response bc:
1) Iran counterattacks
2) Putin bitch slaps him
3) Oil prices spike & markets get hit
4) He's proven as a strategic imbecile who created this whole mess

4 Now Trump has to:
1 Quietly cave & lift sanctions, crawling back to the table for the same deal Obama did.
or
2 Do nothing & Iran escalates attacks.
or
3 Attack Iran, causing a military response from them, w/ heavy consequences for us.
