1/2 Today the Supreme Court will discuss matters raised by @thatginamiller and @JolyonMaugham to determine whether or not it is legal for Prime Minister @BorisJohnson to prorogue (shutdown in this context) Parliament in order to get his own way without scrutiny.
@thatginamiller @JolyonMaugham @BorisJohnson 2/2 Just as with our case, as far as I understand it this matter has been raised to protect Parliamentary democracy. The question is: Is it okay for the PM to shut down Parliament when he doesn't like what Parliament is saying?
@thatginamiller @JolyonMaugham @BorisJohnson One more: With our own case, the question is: Is it okay for @BorisJohnson to lie to the entire country about @hmtreasury public spending figures when he doesn't like what the figures really say?

These cases are about matters far more important than Brexit.
