I think it’s pretty funny that I’ve started getting the “who’s paying you??? OMG CONSPURACY” mentions.

As if Stallman didn’t make enemies of EVERY woman he interacted with in the 90s?!
This one just happened to find herself in a position to do something about it at the right time.

Thousands of others would have done the same thing in my shoes.

This is really important. Stallman is gone, but the house he built remains. The @fsf board is still stacked with his supporters.

As we look towards what the future of free software COULD be, we need to dismantle that twisted structure and rebuild something better.

Powerful statement this morning from @conservancy, another free software nonprofit: “We [...] want to underscore that allowing Stallman to continue to hold a leadership position would be an unacceptable compromise.”

It continues: ”Most importantly, we cannot support anyone, directly or indirectly, who condones the endangerment of vulnerable people by rationalizing any part of _predator_ behavior.” (emphasis mine)

That’s an important word to have in this discussion.

EXACTLY. Stallman is incapable of preventing “misunderstanding,” so as long as anyone listens to him, he will continue to lob these grenades of “misunderstanding” into our communities that just “happen” to push women & girls, specifically, out of software.

I think I’m finally at the breaking point with politics.

Full Disclosure: I run 2 FB groups devoted to politics and that’s pretty much all I do there. They are both small groups - friends/family and people they invite, but it’s been refreshing to get out of the twitter bubble
2. In one group, I’m constantly maligned as needing a tin foil hat, blinded by bias, and being a crazed conspiracy theorist - by people I’ve known for DECADES -because of #TrumpRussia - even as I post links to left wing examples of this.
3. So, I tried a different tactic. To counter the bias, I send my end goal was a Pence presidency because at least he’s probably not a traitor and Pence is as right wing as they come...nope, still blinded by bias.

Second: The actual experts do not agree with you, and your fear-mongering is likely causing more harm than good.

The funny thing is actually it goes: organized daycare --> median childcare worker is more formalized --> higher odds of everify/background check for median care worker --> reduced demand for informal childcare work --> reduced demand for unauthorized labor --> less illegal immig
Each arrow is a diminishing effect size but c'mon folks, the part of the childcare sector driving demand for laborers without legal authorization to work isn't daycares, it's home care!
And the people most likely to use new care centers aren't stay-at-home-moms, but moms who currently higher informal childcare or use currently existing semi-formal care (like home daycares).

The story starts from the top, "In the days after Trump fired Comey"

Stop right there, this is a push pin to start a timeline, completely ignoring the fact that multiple FISA warrant havd already been in place prior to this point in time on members of the @realDonaldTrump WHY?
For those not keeping up, yes I said multiple FISAs, though we haven't seen them, rest assured they exist. We have seen @carterwpage FISA, but he wasn't the only one. My guess is Papadopoulos, Manafort, & @GenFlynn. The are strictly speculation on my part, but that's my gut..

My company was raided. It should have been a straightforward matter. But the #MetPolice & #LBRUT forgot to seize my computer & came back to do a 2nd raid. The search warrant didn't permit a second entry, however, #LBRUT entered unlawfully
