So there are two reasons I hate people on their cellphones. The first reason is, of course, that they are often shouting in their phones, modulating voice to sound levels on the phone instead of the sound around them. The second reason is they drone on and on.
I don't understand the poor smuck on the other end who has to listen to this. I mean, the person next to me is talking and talking and talking, giving no room for the other person to say anything, for the last 20 minutes. Who the hell can be on the other end putting up with this?
In airline lounges I understand this, as the the speaker is often an executive, and is basically paying the other person to listen to them drone on and on and on. But where it's a random person in a bar, or simply wandering aimlessly through a store, who is this other person??
