Novartis is involved in a long-running investigation by the DOJ, SDNY, for paying hundreds of millions in kickbacks to doctors in lavish meals & entertainment, as well as sponsoring “sham” education programs at high-end restaurants between 2002 & 2011.

DOJ is said to be negotiating for a hand-slap fine. If that happens, there's no equal justice. Were patients harmed when their supposed doctor prescribed drugs in exchange for speaking fees, fishing trips, & outings at Hooters? Were any doctors charged?
