'Whichever way I go on this I am going to be in trouble with some people.

Moments later after further discussions with Formby she said: 'It was lost I'm sorry'

The key question is whether Nichols *thought* the Remain Brexit vote had carried and was then overruled by Jennie Formby
Or if she was confused and misspoke, saying it had carried when in fact she meant it had lost
Either way there will be one hell of a row
