I’ve always told myself that regardless of what my hands find to do, if it doesn’t go well with my conscience it must be truncates effective immediately regardless of what I stand to profit. We must always ask ourselves why we are doing what we are doing. Money is not everything.

There are many expired professionals without a soul out there. They have been so commercialized they’ve forgotten the greater good they ought to bring to the society they live and raise children in. We tell the truth not because of what the judge would do but because it heals.

Some people will never know what peace feels like till they die unless they repent of their evil ways. These things have a way of eating you from within. Everything you own with illicit funds poisons your being and happiness. This is why you can’t be fulfilled.

Some of us made our first hundreds of millions before we left University. Yet we lived simply realizing that we owe society something for our children’s sake. This is not just about CSR but about standing for fairness, equity and justice in all we do. Imagine if we all do this...

But look around you. Police are mostly the Armed Robbers & kidnappers. A huge number of lawyers are amoral. Many Judges subjugate Justice and leaders are void of accountability and responsibility. Is this the kind of society we hope to bequeath to our children?

I’m many things & wear many hats. But tonight I speak as a father & uncle to many young people. The trajectory of the society I see is not sustainable & it endangers is all regardless of your class, religion, ethnic group or gender. Only the irresponsible will deny this.

For the life of me, how can I unsee a suicidal young lady in her early adolescent age having gone through series of abortions for the very same man some have elevated to a god on earth? Do I need a court to tell me what I already know? Isn’t this a threat to us all?

It’s like me saying I doubt your report of police abuse and your bleeding is unreal or your murdered family member is not dead until the alleged perpetrator is convicted in court. If this is your thinking then you are a Beast. The purpose of the court is to serve justice.

The court is not in the position to determine what we all can tell occurred based on material evidence and testimony of people who can ascertain this is not a new incident but an example of a series of events that has been happening overtime.

Impunity persists because perpetrators abusing their power, privilege and position believe they will get away with their crime using their clout and influence in society. Just imagine a man promising lawyers positions on his board of trustees to defend his crimes.

I won’t be surprised if he has procured a police report stating he is absolved of all wrongs already and seating their press conference to make same public while he victimizes those he has put through hell over the years with his raping spree. We will not relent on this!

Already police is playing dead to other petitions on this characters while busy working on delivering on giving him a clean bill of health to avoid criminal prosecution. When this finally materializes, we all can be assured of the end of policing in Nigeria.
