So @TheRickWilson says McConnell would never hold a Senate trial if Trump is impeached. He also called Schumer the guy you bring to a party because you feel sorry for him.
And now @TheRickWilson called Trump a “fecal iceberg.”
The panelists seem to agree Trump will be impeached this calendar year but not convicted in the Senate

Buried lede: AG Barr has known since at least mid-August he was named in Ukraine call. Did he get a legal opinion on recusal?
This story seems a deliberate effort by Barr to distance himself from Trump. We will see how that goes
I expect Trump’s reaction to hearing Barr say he was “surprised and angry” to be named on the Ukraine call to be very legal and very good.

Among the most disturbing allegations are those of a cover up by White House lawyers and the deep involvement of AG Barr. He needs to resign or be removed from office immediately
Usually say the coverup is worse than the crime but in the case of the Ukraine solicitation by Trump of foreign dirt (perhaps manufactured) on Biden, it is hard to say which is worse. Abuses of power justifying impeachment + serious allegations of criminal activity #EllipsesGate
Has someone tried to get Nikki Haley on the record on Ukraine? Big moment of truth for her.

Talking heads have absolutely no idea how to ask real questions about abortion policy
“What would you do as president if Roe is overturned?” is not a real question about abortion. It’s a total softball question designed to let them pontificate without forcing them to account for their unpopular positions on specific policies.
They should’ve asked every single candidate both nights to raise their hand if they support a single limit on abortion. The rest of this is unserious.

Here’s a short (for now) thread of things that #hearing people really should know and somehow choose not to
1. It’s actually quite rude to ask someone how #deaf they are.

1.1 because there’s no direct relationship between how much hearing you have and how well you integrate with the hearing. Most of my friends can, technically, hear things I physically can’t.
2. Sign languages are actually languages, not just a fun accessibility tool.

's 3 primary goals: (1) refocus EPA on "core mission"; (2) restore power to state through "cooperative federalism"; & (3) improved process & adherence to Rule of Law.

In his 1st year, he flouted all of these principles. Let's examine.
