Rep Jamie Raskin (D-MD) says that there was nothing in the State Dept IG meeting today pertinent to Trump's impeachable conduct..it had to do with Trump's effort to discredit Mueller evidence re RU 2016 interference. At Pompeo's behest? #WednesdayWisdom #TrumpUkraineScandal
Rep Raskin called it 'propaganda' & the IG packet contained info supporting Trump/Barr/Pompeo's efforts to reverse engineer the FBI & Mueller evidence that Russia interfered in 2016. Seems like Pompeo set this up, they're desperately trying to change the narrative. Nothing there.

Reporting is that the DoS IG was much more concerned about having rec'd this packet (in May) after the WBC happened, that it was clearly disinformation, (Trump hotel logo, WH return address, all @ Russia) & he wanted the Committees to know about it now.
David Jolly just said that he thinks that Congress should now expand their impeachment inquiry scope to encompass Pompeo and Barr.

This packet that the DoS IG turned over to Congress this afternoon is now being reported as 'seemingly connected to the Special envoy and/or Ukrainian Amb' who are testifying tomorrow and Friday. Clarification is slow, but we'll get it. I think.
