It suggests she founded CyberTLA. As far as I can see TLA means “Tech London Associates” that, in fact was founded (according to its web page) by Russ Shaw in 2013. She is listed as one of numerous “advocates”.

“Russ is a founding partner of London Tech Week, a London Tech Ambassador for the Mayor of London and Advisory Board member for Founders4Schools and the Government’s Digital Skills Partnership.”
I cannot find anything in Companies House for her re TLA.
Poss the Russ licences her use the operating model (ie IP)
But Hacker House was registered in 2015.

It was not until the 2017 accounts that it showed financial activity in the form of losses (36k in debt).
July 2018 (£715k in debt)
So it may have “launched” in 2016.
She’s entitled to work and grow a business but the source of the loans to Hacker House does interest me given she has debts already of c $100k dollars for student loans
techlondonadvocates.org.uk/about/
Instead she bid for those London grants

That £100k award was after legal action started on the MEFA student loan.
I seem to remember the rent of the Shoreditch flat was c£2.5k pcm.

And who risked a further £700k on her (Hacker House debts)?
What about MEFA legal action for c $100k?
What about the £700k+ Hacker House debts?
Were references sought and provided? Who?
Or that one’s company is over £700k in debt.
All that well before the grant of the Jan 2019 DCMS £100k award.
8th October - 5th November 2018 was the application date window.
Jeremy Wright was the minister at the time. I have to check junior ministers
That should be 11/!
Here is the first link naming Hacker House as a company awarded with a link to the Hacker House website & course. (Thanks @allotment_lady for that link)

So was the DCMS told by Arcuri/Hacker House Ltd that the company was over £700k in debt? If so, what further due diligence did the @DCMS do?
![](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EF9D3mZXUAANRgU.jpg)
On what terms?
Repayment due when?
Secured or not?
After all Arcuri cannot have covered it personally given her outstanding c$100k student debt, surely?
She was already being sued by the time of the application.
