Thought experiment for the GOP: Say Joe Biden had his personal lawyer, let's say Ed Rendell, travel to India to look into what appear to be the corrupt business practices of Donald Trump, Jr. I assume Fox News and Lindsey Graham would be cool with that? vox.com/world/2018/2/2…

I mean, doesn't the public have an interest in knowing whether there was some corruption involved with the President and his family? Isn't there a history of corruption in that family that merits looking into this? I'm just asking questions here.
Look, there are credible reports that money from Russian oligarchs illegally found its way into Lindsey Graham's election coffers. Biden should really send his personal lawyer to Russia to meet with prosecutors there to get to the bottom of this. Right? dallasnews.com/opinion/commen…
The answer to all of these rhetorical questions is ABSOLUTELY NOT. These imagined, fictionalized actions on the part of the Biden campaign would be 100% inappropriate and illegal. They are also not so different from what TRUMP HAS ALREADY ADMITTED TO DOING.
It's freaking *Kevin* McCarthy...not Andrew. That'll teach me to dash off something like this on not enough caffeine or calories.
And let's also imagine that Biden's representatives in India, Iran, Azerbaijan, and China offered more aid or more preferential treatment on trade (if he's elected) in return for those gov'ts help looking into Trump family corruption. Jim Jordan is totally fine with that, yes?

This is your regular reminder that if only 4 Republican Senators decided to caucus with the Democrats, Mitch McConnell could be unseated as Leader of the Senate. So if Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Ben Sasse, etc. actually wanted to do anything, this is one thing they could do.
The Republican Party is knowingly and actively complicit with everything Donald Trump is doing. They pretend like there's nothing they can do to rein him in, but that is just their cowardice speaking.
These people took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States. If they believe the President is abusing his power, they have it in their power to hold him accountable today. So far, it appears their allegiance to the GOP trumps their allegiance to the Constitution.

Bush announced his support for a *Constitutional Amendment* to ban same-sex marriage the very week that he kicked off his re-election campaign.
His target audience had no trouble picking up what Bush was laying down. The "gay agenda" had to be stopped in order save "civilization."

From October 29th through November 6th, I got 27 total emails. That’s exactly 3/per day, WAY above the 0.896/day average throughout all of 2018.

I chose Oct 29th for this thread because that’s when they really started picking up.
“Donald J. Trump” dominated the From field most of Oct. In the week before the midterms, they switched to a big mix of surrogates: Donald Trump Jr. (1st email of 2018), Eric Trump (8th), Melania Trump (5th), Lara Trump (23rd), Newt Gingrich (12th), & Brad Parscale (12th).
