Looks like the GOP is adopting Ann Coulter's line on Watergate...which is that Nixon did nothing wrong and Watergate was just a hit job by the liberal media ganging up with power-hungry "radical Democrats." These are her words from 2013. 
And conservatives call professional historians "revisionists." Takes one to know one, I guess.

I'm so old, I remember in late 2016 when it seemed like huge news that Ann Coulter was caught attending Vdare's Christmas Party. Now she's just right there on their list of contributing writers. splcenter.org/hatewatch/2016…
