At the last LGBTQ+ forum, I read the names of 18 Black trans women who had been killed in 2019. Last night, we learned about another cruel loss, Itali Marlowe. out.com/transgender/20…
We need a president who will #SayTheirNames and fight to end this epidemic. We must ensure that trans women of color—and all LGBTQ+ people—aren't just safe from violence and discrimination, but also have every opportunity to thrive and succeed.
I will #SayTheirNames. I will fight to end this epidemic. I will celebrate and uplift the voices of the many transgender people who are persisting and succeeding in spite of injustice. And I'll fight to ensure that every LGBTQ+ person has the opportunity to thrive.

Facebook had a policy that didn't permit misinformation in any ads. Facebook built relationships with independent fact-checkers, so they weren't the sole deciders of what was or wasn't a lie. But Facebook undermined those relationships and excluded political ads from that policy.
Here's the thing, Mark. Trump isn't just posting a lie on his own page for his own followers. Facebook is accepting millions of dollars from Trump to run political ads, including ones with misinformation and outright lies. Ads that TV stations won't even run.

What is unfathomable is the hypocrisy. This soldier clearly passed the Army’s standards & requirements- around training, health, behavior/comportment- kept her nose clean, did her job for 4 yrs. All just for this soldier to be kicked out w no real cause & risk #deportation.
