...shortly after writing that post I met privately with a very senior HMRC officer who indicated it was not interested in pursuing the point...
In August, Uber's US accounts revealed it was (at last) in dispute with HMRC about its NICs bill.
We are, of course, delighted that HMRC is at last doing its job. But why should it be left to @GoodLawProject, funded by a few hundred individuals paying a few quid a month, to ensure HMRC collects taxes from the great and the good?
