Your family and friends love you, but in the end, they are not responsible for the choices you make
You need to make it happen for yourself. They’re not coming to help you
It's all on you
Don’t waste your mental energy on useless bullshit that doesn’t add value to your life
Don’t waste your physical energy by being a slob all day
Leverage both to unleash your potential
You’ll go as far as your mindset allows you
The mind is the road map
You decide the destination
To the corner of your street, or to a different corner of the world, you decide
Dream big
Arguing for why you can’t do something is a sure way to never do something
Stop doubting yourself so much, just go for it
There are things within your control and not within your control
Focus on what you can control and let go of what isn’t.
This alone will decrease the amount of stress in your life tenfold
Accpetance doesn’t mean giving up. It means recognizing that there’s nothing you can do in this very moment to change reality, but you can still work towards improving the outcome.
Let go and focus on what you can control
We like people who like us and who are like us
Try to give sincere compliments and work toward finding things you have in common with others on a daily basis
This will skyrocket your social life
What are you waiting for? She’s not going to come talk to you. Find your pair of balls and just do it. You have NOTHING to lose, but tons to gain.
Do interesting things, yes, but also, you must become interested in others.
In a world where people make everything about themselves, the person who stands out the most is the one who listens attentively and take interests in others.
When you strip bare the things most people cherish, fancy dinners and expensive clothes, you’ll see that these things hold very little true value. Yeah, they’re cool, but they will not bring you fulfillment or happiness.
Life is opinion.
External reality is shaped by your perceptions.
How you interpret the world around you determines how you feel.
You can choose to see the same thing as harmful or beneficial to you.
Don’t be too rigid or stiff in your plans. There are too many external variables that could throw your plan off course. Nothing can stop you when you're able to go with the flow and make the best out of every situation.
Whatever you plan on doing, spend a few minutes imagining it going terribly wrong & try to see any obstacles that may prevent you from doing it. Then try to think of ways you can overcome them. This takes away the element of surprise and initial shock
If you were going to be given an award by the President of the United states by the time you’re 90 years old, what would the award be given for?
That’s your purpose.
And test the shit out of it every day
Run an extra mile, do an extra 100 puhshups, wake up earlier, read two extra chapters, Start a convo with a stranger, etc.
This will show you what you're made of and reveal your potential
Whatever you’re afraid of is your master and you’re it’s bitch.
The moment you decide to face your fears is the moment you become free.
Take control or be controlled
Be a little more patient with those in your life (and strangers as well) You don’t know what they’re going through. They may be struggling or going through hard times. Be patient & put yourself in their shoes
Your problems aren't unique
Stop wasting time wondering what others are doing or comparing your success to theirs
You’re making yourself feel worse by looking at what others have but you don’t
They’re on their own mission, just like you
Focus on you
Confidence isn’t the ability to get a lot of people to like you, but rather, it’s the ability to be totally ok if no one likes you
Be sure of yourself and what you're doing
You don't need their reassurance
Any bad can be turned into a good, just like any good can be turned into a bad
Which lens are you viewing the world through? Everything as an obstruction to you, or everything as an opportunity for you?
Failure is an opportunity
Journaling is amazing for therapy and self-discovery
Some of the most successful people to have ever lived kept a journal at all times Including the Emperor of Rome, Marcus Aurelius

Waste no time in removing energy leeches and infectious people
They WILL ruin your life and sabotage your chances at success if you allow them
Cut them from your life immediately, this includes family
When children are first learning to walk, how many times do they fall? Too much to count
But they get back up & keep trying
Just because you fell doesn’t mean you failed, it’s a fall, that’s all
Fall forward by taking risks and learning as you go
How much time do you waste on a daily basis?
Grey hair is a sign of existing long, not living long
Is how you’re living now any different from being dead?
Take stock of what you spend time on daily and eliminate what’s unnecessary
