Notice what happened last week in the Brexit debate? We ended up discussing two awful entries into the debate. And in the process we made them fly. 1/
The first was that goddawful piece of anti-german racism produced by leave eu. For a day it was everywhere and we were all dismayed. 2/
The second was that goddawful audience member in bbc question time. And we were all dismayed. 3/
They both cost us a lot of energy and didn't get us anywhere. 4/
The only winners were leave eu, who got a reach they could otherwise only dream of, and bbc question time who set the agenda once again. 5/
We KNOW that next week will bring new abhorrent stupidities for us all to react to. 6/
They won't bring us anywhere. Just take us further into dismay. 7/
How do we know that? Because it has happened week in and week out for years. And we react. And it carries their message. And the utter dumb stupidity and malevolence gets us all down. 8/
Our counter reaction isn't opposition; it's a pre-written uptake, those brigands count on. In protesting it makes us into their tools. 9/
I mean literally anything that could possibly make Andrew Bridgen prominent must be a misunderstanding and a misapplication of attention. 10/
So here's an idea on how to counter act it. Don't ignore. Drown! 11/
Highlight what you want people to know. The same bbc question time had a prominent new #RemainerNow, but it almost disappeared in all the noise. Don't let it. Shout it out! 12/
Every time you see something goddawful, do not retweet it, do not reply. But use your adrenaline to retweet something you actually like. If need be, go directly on the topic, but say something true, something your followers is wiser for knowing. 13/
Is it anti-German? Well, stick it to them by retweeting something by, say, Tanja Bueltmann. 14/
Is it just anti-EU. Well I'm sure Donald Tusk or Guy Verhofstadt could use another supporting reply. 15/
