we're hoping to get 10k to fund 5 reporters to do their work and then sell their stories to outlets - but if you generous bamas kick in more, we'll fund more! So give us 5 bucks, or a dollar, or 100,000! the sky is the limit!
It'll be open to anyone, though laid off reporters are very strongly urged to apply, as well as women, POC, LGBTQ, and disabled reporters. It's not a cure for the damage the mass layoffs have done to the industry, but hopefully we can help a few of our colleagues pay their bills
