"Obviously, benefiting from any decision in terms of emoluments is not something that would be consistent. My understanding is is that they're not making any profit."

I asked if he’d have the same reaction if Obama had had the G7 at an Obama-owned golf course.

"You will find that there were a lot of people complaining about Obama spending hundreds of millions of dollars to go to Africa. I wasn't one of them."
