Dude at the bar here without his ID just busted out "I'm a lawyer" in lieu of proof of age.
If you're a lawyer, shouldn't you understand the law?

I am dressed in imitation of a video game elf and wearing a computer on my face and I am here to say that guys like this sound like cartoon characters and it amazes me they have no idea what parodies of themselves they are.
And he just came back with his ID. He just told his drinking companion he *said* he's a lawyer because lawyers have to be over 21. And then said that a restaurant can't actually do this because it's unconstitutional to require people to carry ID.
When he was arguing with the server I argued back but at this point he's just being wrong on his own recognizance and that he's fully entitled to do.
