The Courage Foundation convened a panel about the OPCW-FFM report on Douma, including a former Director General of the OPCW and a member of the Douma investigation team from the @OPCW.

The findings are based on the whistleblower’s extensive presentation, including internal emails, text exchanges and suppressed draft reports:

=> Key information about chemical analyses, toxicology consultations, ballistics studies, and witness testimonies was suppressed!

The analytical points are the best summary of the relevant issues, and the fatal flaws, of the official @OPCW report that I have seen:

Many have raised the question whether the chlorinated organic chemicals that were found point actually to chlorine release, or are insignificant.

Now we learn that the quantitative analysis that might provide an answer was not, incomprehensibly, omitted -- but suppressed!

The toxicological expertise stated it was not possible to precisely link the cause of the signs and symptoms to a specific chemical (misleadingly quoted in summary of OPCW report).

Now we learn there was another expertise that explicitly excluded chlorine as cause!

Here, I shall add another flaw: the toxicologists were only shown a small sample of the visual evidence (acc. to Annex 11 in OPCW report).

Had they seen the examples of exuberant, hardened foaming they would certainly have raised doubt whether this was the effect of poisoning!

In regard to the leaked Engineering Assessment, the panel notes how little consideration was given to alternative hypotheses in the final report, and correctly points to the crucial observation of fragmentation damage.

On this point, there can be no doubt: there just is fragmentation damage on the balcony. Here, the official @OPCW report engages in simple, blatant evidence denialism!

Those who have bothered to look at the actual visual evidence of the scene also know that there is no way this cylinder could have smashed apart the metal rebars but then landed on top of the hole.
The official @OPCW report doesn't address this seeming physical impossibility.

The panel notes that witness reports were handled rather unevenly.
(As a matter of fact, the testimonies of the Douma doctors in The Hague were, incomprehensibly, classified as visual evidence and thereby excluded from consideration!)

The panel finally notifies that many inspectors were excluded by @OPCW from contributing to the final report!

Karin Leukefeld presents a detailed report of the panel discussion with the whistleblower, code-named "Alex", who is a leading OPCW inspector with many years of experience (apparently not Ian Henderson), claiming to speak on behalf of a team:

So, the information presented to the panel is essentially the same as published by the Working Group on Syria, Propaganda and Media in June (= second leak after the Henderson report):

According to "Alex", corroborated by notes and email exchanges, the Alpha team was already sidelined after their return from Douma, their interim report was ignored, and in violation of OPCW rules their diverging assessments not even included in the official FFM interim report!

!!! - The quantitative analysis of the chlorinated organic chemicals (excluded in the official OPCW report) shows only tiny traces were present (1-2 parts per billion!).

=> As suspected, insignificant chemical traces were deceptively presented so as to suggest chlorine release!

Another interesting detail: Ian Henderson, as his opinion was sidelined in the official FFM report, wrote and circulated his Engineering Assessment in defiance of OPCW procedures (which explains a lot in regard to the date, and the confusion from OPCW how to respond to the leak!)

And here comes the highlight:
according to the Douma team, the victims filmed in the "massacre house" CANNOT have been killed by chlorine --- because chlorine does NOT cause "foaming at the mouth"!
And there are NO other known chemicals producing this effect!

I have been belabouring the point of FAKE FOAM for a long time - because "foaming at the mouth" is NOT a symptom of chemical poisoning, neither from chlorine nor for that matter from sarin - you don't find it in any textbook!

We actually do not know how many whistleblowers there are, - but what is more important, that he speaks on behalf of the OPCW-FFM team "Alpha" (led or supervised by Ian Henderson) that was deployed to Douma!
