CK Raju's view that Greeks could not have done all that they did because their city states were oh-so-tiny, is ridiculously prejudiced

Not sure if he appreciates the fact that the Greek world >>> the cities of Athens, Sparta

It spanned much of the Mediterranean and West Asia
E.g. Many giants including Homer, Pythagoras, Anaximander, Thales of Miletus were not even from the Attica or Peloponnese

But from cities that lie mostly in modern Turkey in Asia Minor
Aristotle himself hailed from Stagira, a town that was situated in modern Macedonia

Distance from Stagira to Athens is roughly 600 kms - about the same as the distance from Mumbai to Goa

So the Greek world was not merely a handful of cities clustered side by side

It was big
Eratosthenes is another example

The man who calculated the earth's circumference with remarkable accuracy

He hailed from a town in modern Libya (African continent)

Not Attica / Peloponnese

Lived in 3rd cen BCE
Heredotus the great historian, was born in Anatolia (modern Turkey)

So was Hipparchus, the astronomer from the Hellenic period. Born in Nicaea (which is the Turkish city of Iznik today)
Sure there were some who were born in and around Athens / Sparta (e.g. Plato, Thucydides) - the HQ of the Greek world

But they form a minority

Greek world was much much bigger than we think
It's a shame H-Right patronizes such "scholars" who mostly expend their negative energies to bring down other cultures

Such efforts are not going to help H's legitimate cause of giving Indian thought it's rightful place
