I'm betting tapes means @TheJusticeDept Barr used his declassification magic wand and got the @NSAGov to unmask and declassify Biden incidental 702 collections to use for political purposes. @FBIWFO @NSAGov @ODNI @CIA
If the @WHNSC @ODNI or @CIA bought into any such illegality they better come clean fast. People will go to prison. @RepAdamSchiff @MarkWarner. @FBIWFO

2. They don't seem to name Erdogan but identify Akar and his commanders who are running the Syrian operation. Fidan is not listed. Trump can add others but for now it's the command. All weapons banned including broad dangerous sanction for any country shipping weapons to Turkey.
3. Though Erdogan is not listed the sanctions require a report on all of Erdogan's net worth. Also Halk Bank is sanctioned and any successor that may indicate that Halk Bank may be liquidated by Turkey.

Key is that Turkey must stop and get out

1. I've only made passing remarks on this but I know want to make sure the DOD press question what's going on in Deir EzZor. I trust the reported three bases in Deir EzZor derive from several strategic considerations but IMO the principal one is to cut Turkey off from Syrian oil.
2. Turkey had other objectives: Ethnic cleansing, genocide and freeing ISIS. But ISIS was on the road to the oil and gas in the SE and that is what the Ottoman boss-man is pursuing. @barbarastarrcnn @rabrowne75 @ckubeNBC
3. A former PKK member was read in on a mission that was kept from the Turks. I've been watching this Wagnerian opera for five frigging years. We need to de-list the PKK. They are not our enemy And we should only list our enemies. And by de-listing them we can open a dialogue.

Shocker: Bill Barr—appointed AG after giving Trump a 19-page memo saying Trump didn't obstruct justice—just exonerated Trump of obstruction of justice. Mueller specifically said "this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him"
Mueller couldn't establish corrupt intent for obstruction of justice b/c Trump refused to talk w/ investigators. W/o putting Trump under oath, Barr exonerates him. Barr was put in charge of DOJ to salvage the GOP—even if it meant letting Trump get away with everything. Shameful.
.@JeffreyToobin points out the impropriety of AG Barr concluding no obstruction of justice when the whole point of appointing a special counsel was b/c Trump’s political appointees—like AG—have an inherent conflict of interest. And now we see, AG Barr is indeed Trump’s lackey.
