I REALLY, REALLY wish people would educate themselves on the Salem Witch Trials. It was a bought of local madness, like a cult, confined to Salem. The MOMENT the tried to accuse someone from the next town, the Governor sent the Militia to put a stop to it, which they did.
20 people died in the Salem Witch Trials, and that’s not good, but that’s like a bad weekend in Chicago.
