Lie #1 - The Dems want to undo the election.
Reality: #Trump has broken every ethical/legal norm. He is a clear and present danger to the national security of US and needs to be removed.

Lie #2 - The timing is meant to influence the 2020 election.
Reality: The WH is obstructing to make #impeachment as drawn out as possible. Also, the GOP doesn't care AT ALL about Russian influence in 2016.

Lie #3 - The Whistleblower needs to come forward and testify.

Reality: GOP established current whistleblower protections and for good reason. They can, but NEVER have to testify. It's like a person seeing a fire, calling it in, and then the fire dept refusing to put it out until they speak to the caller.

Lie #4 - Colluding with foreign powers to influence an election is not an impeachable offense.
Reality: Fuck off. That's just insane. If a Dem did it the GOP would be declaring civil war. Trump has aligned our country with our enemies for personal gain. - - >

The reality is that it's explicitly illegal. For those saying that it's not illegal enough, then why did those same people pursue Clinton over lying about a blowjob? That's worse than this? Also, this argument is moot. If he is impeached by the House, then guess what? - - >

It's now officially an impeachable offense. THE HOUSE decides what is impeachable and what is not.

Lie #5 -The dems have been trying to impeach Trump since day 1.
Reality - #Trump'sown department kicked off a 2 year inquiry. NOT the dems.

Lie #6 - The Muller report - - >

Reality: Completely false. Trump used his AG to shade public opinion in his favor. Just look at the damning evidence just released for the truth.

Lie #7 - This is a sham closed door process.
Reality: this is the exact same process followed - - >

in the past. Republicans make up almost half the room with closed doors. This is an inquiry and it's how investigations work. Always. Everything will be completely open soon and then this all goes away.

Reality: They did hold a vote even though they didn't have to and not one member of the GOP voted in favor. This lie amounts to obstructing the investigation, not formalizing it.

Lie #9 - This President does things differently which is why it's all OK.
Reality: Bullshit. - - >

Republicans are running scared. They need his extremism as their base shrinks every single day due to the demographics of the country. They are polishing the brass on the Titanic, but don't want to admit it.

Lie #10 America should decide if #Trump's actions are OK in 2020 - - >

Reality: No. Do your job Republicans! It is not the job of the American people to ensure a President who follows the law is elected. It is ASSUMED by the American people that this will happen. It is YOUR JOB to take action when it doesn't.
