I cannot *believe* Don didn't use this photo for his book cover
PS/ This may've been photoshopped by a lib—but sorry, Don, when you "trigger" a lib you never know *what* they'll do, like maybe hilariously capture your very soul in a timeless pic Dorian Gray-style
PS2/ I'm also open to this being real in which case whichever publicist failed to make this Don's book cover has to be fired ASAP

This line of thinking must be explored more. A follow-up: "What if he shot 13 people? What about 53? Did you know he effectively argued in court that he could shoot 53 New Yorkers in the face in quick succession and not even be *detained* by NYPD to keep him from shooting more?"
PS/ In other words, this wishy-washy "What if he shot one person?" hypothetical is one Trump *created himself*, in part, it's now clear, to paper over his actual theory: there's *no number of people he can't kidnap, torture, and kill with impunity* under unitary executive theory.
PS2/ More follow-ups that must be asked. "What if he shot a family member of yours, but he had a good reason?" "What if he shot you in the heart because he thought you were holding Clinton's autobiography—instead of a cell phone?" "What if he shot your dog because he hates dogs?"

PS/ I'll go much further. QUESTION: Why did Trump suddenly become interested in Ukraine the same year Paul Manafort, who ended up as one of the top political advisers in Ukraine, moved into Trump's building after signing a contract to advance the Kremlin's interests in America?
PS2/ Donald Trump was the first-ever client of Manafort's consulting company many years before 2006, so in the event you're thinking Manafort simply lived in Trump Tower but didn't know Trump at all, you're wrong. I repeat: the Ukraine story goes back many years. Attn @AdamSchiff

I normally feel uncomfortable with chants like this—but Trump's an unindicted SDNY co-conspirator who's also an clear flight risk. Anyone chanting "lock him up" could easily just be calling for his arrest and pretrial detention under standard court procedure and full due process.
1/ In contrast, the chants calling to "lock up" Clinton—who at the time had been fully investigated pursuant to a series of allegations, and who upon the completion of those investigations was ruled *non-chargeable*—were calling for lawless behavior and the demise of due process.
2/ Note: I still would not participate in such a chant, and I could wish that these chants would not happen at Democratic rallies. But what I'm pointing out as an attorney is that there's a *difference* between chanting in favor of due process and chanting for it to be abrogated.

I've been an event manager for two large independent bookstores for over four years, and I get asked all the time about what is the best way to reach out to your local indie. I'm starting a thread below containing some of my best tips!
If you're local to the bookstore, make sure you mention that in the FIRST sentence in your email to the store or event manager. We will almost always jump at an event if you live in our town!!
Don't just stop in and ask for the event manager, even though that seems like the best option. We are usually juggling 1,000 tasks and personally, a well-organized email is so, so much better.

This is the story of the art of the #book cover...
Allen Lane founded Penguin Books in 1935, aiming to bring high-quality paperbacks to the masses for the same price as a packet of cigarettes. Lane began by snapping up publishing rights for inexpensive mid-market novels and packaging them expertly for #booklovers.
From the start Penguins were consciously designed; Lane wanted to distinguish his paperbacks from pulp novels. Edward Young created the first cover grid, using three horizontal bands and the new-ish Gill Sans typeface for the text.

It's is a short metaphorical essay on progress in human life.

It’s a puppet controlled by a human via strings from above. The reason it’s graceful in its movements is because it lacks self-awareness that it’s being controlled by someone else

So, when women say they don’t like how they’re portrayed (in a film, on a comic book cover, etc) the hetero male response is usually that we’re anti-sex or no fun.

This is almost never the case! It’s not about the sexy, it’s about how the sexy is shown. Let’s watch videos!
