The US has backed a right-wing military coup against Bolivia's democratically elected socialist President Evo Morales, the country's first Indigenous leader, who had just won re-election by 600,000 votes.

Violent US coups targeted every progressive, elected leader in this photo.
The US-backed violent, elite, rich right-wing opposition overthrew Bolivia's Evo after similar US coups against Venezuela's Chávez (2002) and Honduras' Zelaya (2009), and a failed attempt against Nicaragua's Ortega (2018)

Any independent leftist Latin American leader is targeted
Evo Morales won re-election in Bolivia fair and square. A statistical analysis by experts showed no evidence of irregularities.

This was a right-wing military coup, backed by the Trump admin—just like the failed US coup against Venezuela earlier this year

Bolivia is being intervened by foreign powers, but no one mentions this. So far, all analyses focus on narrating the conflict as a local issue, a terrible mistake. Leading the coup we find organizations and companies financed by the US and Europe since at least 2005.
Officially, USAID has not been operating in Bolivia since 2013, but the financing of sedition and racist groups never stopped. The embassies of Germany and Spain have served as ‘clutch’ entities to fuel those leaderships we see today as “surprises”.
