SC's order on the rebel MLAs strengthens the Speaker's rights in the Assembly, but makes horse trading easier. Battle won, war lost. As I've said before, this is something that voters will have to tackle. The courts are far from the real problem.
One good thing is that this has made the anti-defection law more or less pointless. Anyone wishing to leave may resign, or act in a way that attracts disqualification, and in either case be free to recontest.
In the ideal case, this should prompt a relook at the ADL, but in the real world I think this will just end up sanctioning the 'business as usual' way of doing things, with even more emphasis on 'business'.
