EXCLUSIVE – In 2011, @JeremyCorbyn met with a representative of the terrorist group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command. The PFLP-GC were responsible for a number of terror attacks in Israel in the 70’s and 80’s, victims of which included children

The meeting took place in Beirut whilst @JeremyCorbyn was part of a delegation to Lebanon. The trip was organised by the PRC, a group with alleged links to Hamas who you can read more about here –

The PFLP-GC were designated as a UK proscribed terrorist organisation in 2014. They are described as “a left wing nationalist Palestinian militant organisation...The group’s aim is the destruction of Israel and is opposed to any negotiation with Israel". /2

The description goes on to say that the group "believes solely in a military solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict”. /3

The PFLP-GC were responsible for a number of brutal terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians. These include the May 1970 Avivim school bus massacre in which 12 people were murdered, including 9 children, when two RPG’s were fired at a school bus on it's way to school. /4

Four years later in April 1974, during the Jewish festival of Passover, three PFLP-GC terrorists entered the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona and murdered 18 civilians, including 8 children. /5

The group haven't limited their targeting to inside Israel’s borders. According to this @CST_UK report, the PFLP-GC were responsible for 9 incidents of attempting to target Israeli and Jewish institutions in Europe -

These include the February 1970 downing of a Swiss Air Flight that was en-route to Israel in which all of the 47 passengers and crew were killed. /7

In January 1981, the Swedish government announced the deportation of four Palestinians connected to the PFLP-GC in connection with terrorist plots against the country’s Jewish community and Israeli institutions. /8

In October 1988, 13 Palestinians were arrested after the discovery of arms caches in Frankfurt and Hamburg. Four were subsequently charged with terrorist offences. They were all connected to the PFLP-GC and were planning an attack against a visiting Israeli football team. /9

According to the US Department of State, “since the early 1990s, the group has primarily focused on supporting Hizballah's attacks against Israel, training members of other Palestinian terrorist groups, and smuggling weapons” -

More recently the PFLP-GC have been supporting the brutal Assad regime in Syria. During a protest outside their headquarters in the Yarmouk refugee camp, PFLP-GC members opened fire on a crowd killing as many as 14 Palestinians. /11

From Hamas to Hezbollah, it seems like there is absolutely no group who are committed to Israel's destruction that @JeremyCorbyn won't meet with. The PFLP-GC have never given up on their aim of removing Israel and murdering Jews. This is who @JeremyCorbyn met with in 2011. END
