Reading through the #SaugusShooting thread, allow me to be a voice of reason... as a native of Santa Clarita, all of you calling for gun control are out of your f*cking minds and YOU are the problem.
98.4% of mass shootings, as defined by the FBI, have occurred in "gun-free" zones and our "brilliant" legislators tied federal funding for schools to adhering to this insane policy.
Don’t be fooled by the media and politicians- America doesn’t have a gun problem. The real epidemic is the 20,000+ gun laws preventing citizens from exercising their natural, inalienable right to self defense.
39,773 gun deaths per year sounds like a big number, right? Except 60% of those deaths were suicide. That’s 23,863 suicides and of the remaining 16,000, 80% of those homicides were committed by gangs; many times with illegally obtained weapons. 
Most of these gang-related homicides are committed in Democrat-controlled cities with strict gun laws in place already. How are more laws ever going to stop criminals? Red Flag laws and gun-free zones aren’t about safety; they’re about control.
According to the CDC, guns are used defensively somewhere between 500,000 and 3 million times per year. You won't hear those stats though, because "your" politicians want you to be scared. They want you to give up your rights and defer to the state. F*ck that.
The number of privately owned firearms in U.S. increased from about 185 million in 1993 to 357 million in 2013 and in that time, gun violence dropped by half. Do the math. Guns PREVENT violence, not the other way around.

With a 56% increase in gun ownership over the past 30 years, violent crime decreased by 49%. Reconcile this fact with the LIES the media and politicians like Feinstein, Beta, Swalweasel, Pelosi, Schumer, et al spread EVERY day.
According to the Crime Prevention Research Center, "gun free zones" (areas where guns are prohibited) have been the target of more than 98% of all mass shootings.

I'll tell you what laws would help: repeal the NFA, allow for us all to constitutional carry... a well-armed society is a polite society. All you gun-grabbers and pathetic fools are creating the f*cking problem you claim to want to "fix."

States with the most restrictive gun laws have the highest incidence of violent gun crime. Do you think that's a f*cking coincidence? Are you mentally deficient?

Take some responsibility for your own safety. Pull your children out of the unconstitutional public schools. These politicians claim to care about your children while they purposely endanger them with the gun-free bullshit.
If you want to make a real, positive change to address this issue, demand that "your" representative vote for constitutional carry. We gun owners will NEVER disarm no matter how many shootings you liberals carry out or enable and encourage.
