We have two stories on @realdonaldtrump's company today -- seeing the Trump Org's overriding problem from two different angles....

@realDonaldTrump First: the @realdonaldtrump Hotel in DC is running nearly half-empty and trailing its competitors in revenue -- despite getting **huge** business ($2.4 million and counting) from the GOP and Trump allies.

@realDonaldTrump This was a surprise.
Trump hotels in NY, Chicago and Miami all suffered declines, as old customers left.
But the DC hotel had to be doing well, right?
At the DC hotel, Trump's allies were his loyal customers: @AmericaFirstPAC, the @gop, @VP Pence, etc.

(Trump org. blames its decision not to pursue foreign-govt business, though it still gets some of that business).

@realDonaldTrump @AmericaFirstPAC @GOP @VP That's the other side of this trend. The @gop and its allies are becoming even more loyal Trump customers.
The GOP already met at Doral in 2018. Now they're coming back. Of the last 7 big GOP mtgs, 3 included events at Trump properties. Trump has made $780K and counting.

@realDonaldTrump @AmericaFirstPAC @GOP @VP Big takeaway: The @gop is becoming a party built for 1 man's benefit, both politically -- and economically. But, for Trump Org, even that deep-pocketed customer doesn't seem to be enough.
