NYT article claims that "experts" think Sanders' climate change plan is unscientific, implying it means experts on climate change. But actually quotes people like: a business school professor/maxed out Hillary donor and a former Hillary staffer & PR guy for the chemical industry
this is pure propaganda, nothing whatsoever to do with science. if you want a scientific assessment have climate scientists evaluate the plan. pretty galling that @nytimes doesn't disclose the obvious political biases of its sources.
@nytimes lol people in this article who ARE actual experts say the plan is good!!!
@nytimes hey @nytimes is it your usual practice in articles on climate change to decline to disclose that an "expert" has previously done PR for the chemical industry instead of just calling them a "democratic strategist"

Medicare has parts A, B. C and D.
Everyone has to buy a plan in addition to what the government provides.
So this is actually exactly #Medicare--for all....
Parts A, B, C and D. Parts A & B are known as Original Medicare. This is the most basic coverage you can get. Parts C & D are available through private health plans. They're both ways to enhance your health care coverage if you want more than what Original Medicare offers.

Finally had a minute to read this. Lots of thoughts. First, I agree with most of it, and have been saying the same thing for years - that big splashy design firms exaggerate the value of their work re #climate, a lot. Thread.

Been dancing around this take because I *do* think Sanders can win (one of the more likely nominees IMO). But was time to write it because I think people are wimps and overcompensating for 2016:

Sanders is polling at ~20% nationally with ~100% name recognition. Slightly higher in NH but slightly worse in Iowa. Historically, candidates in a similar position don't have a great track record. (3 for 15 in winning nominations, or 20%).
Sanders's favorability/unfavorability ratings have varied a lot from poll to poll. But on average, they're in the upper-middle part of the pack, not at the top. Biden's negatives are lower and candidates like Buttigieg and Harris have better ratings adjusted for name recognition.
