1. Goumatha is the part and parcel of the life of every Indians and Indian Economy. When the Indigenous Cows were at the verge of extinction, Parampoojya @SriSamsthana of @ShankaraPeetha launched a project called #Kamadugha.
2. To uphold the value of heritage cows for the benefit of humanity, @Kamadugha_SRPM has established several Goushalas under the guidance of His Holiness @SriSamsthana, with the mission to protect, propagate, popularize & research on Indigenous Cows
3. Mahanandi Gouloka of Hosanagar, Shimoga dist. is the only Goushala in India where you can witness all the 33 pure breeds of Desi Cows. Around 9 acres of pasture is available for grazing freely & green grass is grown in about 2 acres of land.
4. Have you heard the concept of Goubank? If not, you must visit the Amrithadhara Goubank of Hosad, Kumta where are given the opportunity to leave their cows when there is difficulty to rear them & take back to home when they wish.
5. At Malur of Kolar dist, you can find Raghavendra Gou Ashrama situated in a village surrounding. It is famous for the development of Panchagavya products managed by Maa Gou Products Pvt. Ltd.
6. Amrithadhara Goushala is situated at Peraje, Mani of South Canara. This is a centre of Gir Breed Conservation, where you can find Gir cows, beasts and cute little Gir Calves with long ears!
7. Goupremis of Bengaluru can visit Amithadhara Gouloka at Uttari village of Kaggalipura to spend your free time fruitfully! Arka, Phenoyl, Cowdung cakes are produced here, out of Gou Products.

8. At Venur of South Canara, there is a Kaveramma Amruthadhara Goushala. Here you can find Kankrej cattle with large horns. There are also breeds of Gir and Malnad Gidda.
9. A dwarf breed, Malenadu Gidda is protected and conserved at Amruthadhara Goushala of Muliya, South Canara.

10. There is also a small and nice Goushala for the Cow lovers of Bengaluru city. It is Nandini Goushala near Ramashrama of Girinagar. Do visit! May Goumatha shower her blessings.

11. In Punyakotinagar of Kairangala village in South Canara district, they rear Malenadu Gidda Breed. Here are 40 cow sheds with a total rearing capacity of 40.

12. This video of happy little calves is from Amruthadhara Goushala of Bajakudlu near Perla of Kasaragod District, Kerala. This is a Kasaragod breed conservation centre. 'Bangari' of this centre was nominated as world’s shortest cow.

14. And lastly, the must visit paradise on earth, #GouSwarga, located in Bhankuli of Siddapur Taluk. A shelter for 1000 cows of various breeds, without any confinement for cows. This has also become a major tourist place within a short span of time.

15. Parampoojya @SriSamsthana is striving for the conservation and development of Desi Cows (Bos Indicus). He has initiated various unique ideas for protection of cows and has been successful and continuing the same. Now, it is our duty to join hands in Gouseva!
