JUST IN: The Judiciary Committee has released a staff report on the "Constitutional Grounds for Presidential Impeachment."

The report sharply refutes the notion that impeachment overturns the previous election:

"No President is entitled to persist in office
after committing 'high Crimes and Misdemeanors,' and no one who voted for him in the
last election is entitled to expect he will do so."
The report itself is dense, laden with citations from the Federalist Papers and the intention of the Founders -- but it's a historic document in that it fills out the *very* thin records of precedent for presidential impeachment.

NEWS: SCHIFF says Pence aide Jennifer Williams submitted additional tetimony Nov. 26 that Pence's office deemed classified.

He's asking for it to be declassified and says it's relevant to corrobrate other Ukraine/impeachment evidence.

Schiff's letter:
INTERESTING: Here's what Williams told Congress about the Sept. 18 call between Pence and Zelensky. She said the Burisma/Crowdstrike investigations didn't come up. No Biden either.
NEW: The revelation that a Pence aide provided new impeachment information — and that Pence's office classified it — is the first sign Democrats are continuing to gather new evidence in the Ukraine matter.

By appearing via subpoena and not "voluntarily," Mueller will appear unbiased and will be able to maintain his nonpartisan credibility.
