... a homemade sweet potato pie with brown sugar and miso in the filling, and a black sesame + chocolate cookie crumb crust.
The filling was nutty... almost peanut buttery, but the real star was the crust.
I very nearly gave up on the pie in favor of just going to town on the crust. Damn. Who knew black sesame and chocolate cookie crumbs were such good friends?! 🔥😍
Y’all I have a confession. Couldn’t find plain chocolate wafers, so I had to operate on some Oreos. My inner 7–year-old was like “WHAT?! You’re throwing away the good part?!!!”
