Another Monday, another hustings. This time in Chelsea and Fulham. And another big turnout.

Lib Dems meanwhile, have been saturating the seat. They think they have a chance. Seems v unlikely to me but Hands sounded a bit worried.

Another hustings this where the organisers (who have had hustings in this venue at previous general elections) have never seen turnout like it. Usually around 50, at least 150 here tonight.
Labour candidate @MatthewUberoi draws major applause: “it’s always been a safe Tory seat. I think the turnout tonight shows us something is changing in Chelsea and Fulham. Vote for me, your local remainer candidate.”
And therein lies the rub. There’s another remainer candidate, splitting the remainer vote, @NicolaHorlick. Labour the clear second place here in 2017. But LDs better ability to absorb Tory votes.
