Was looking at Ohr 302s, which contain redactions even in events which are relatively well known. This paragraph is about breakfast between Ohr and Steele, but redaction has too many letters. Hmmmm...
2/ font is non-proportional. I scanned snip of paragraph and visually inserted numerical sequences to best match positioning observed in image. Redaction for Steele had 10 characters.
3/ 1234567890123 is almost certainly Paul Manafort 12345678901234 is Oleg Deripaska. Not sure about "123456789012345678901 almost ready to talk" - maybe
Kilimnik and 12345678
4/ but how to denote STEELE using 10 characters? Best I could think of was CHS STEELE (confidential human source STEELE), but seems a stretch.
5/ from Jan 21, 2017 Ohr 302, Steele's name is used. What is 29-character redaction for Steele associate(s) who want to keep lines of communication open?

THREAD: on Apr 24, 2018, Devin Nunes, then Intel Cmte chair, asked DOJ for documents regarding a "sensitive matter". Intel Cmte vehemently refused - even more vehemently than their usual obstruction - claiming that identification could lead to loss of life.
2/ Nunes' request had two outcomes at the time. It led to the identification of Stefan Halper as the government agent who had "spied" on Carter Page, as well as Papadopoulos. We now know that Halper had previously smeared Flynn and @RealSLokhova. Some, including me, suspect
@RealSLokhova 3/ that Halper was involved in the Steele dossier smear of Carter Page and perhaps even more extensively as a source of Steele dossier smears.

Peter Fritsch and Glen Simpson of Fusion GPS were interviewed on CBC Radio One a few minutes ago. Link here

2/ I don't think that I've ever listened to this show before, so it was serendipitous. I was flipping channels on TV and ended up flipping thru radio stations in 900s register and accidentally heard snippet.
3/ About 30-40 years ago, I was very regular listener to CBC's As It Happens, when David Frum's mother, Barbara Frum, was superb broadcaster. Unfortunately, apple didn't fall close to the tree.

Yes, but did Perkins Coie actually retain Fusion GPS before or after they knew of hacking? I've parsed Fusion book and I don't think that one can say for sure.
2/ Fusion first pitched Perkins Coie on March 1, but no bite. They pitched again on April 20, two days after Yared Tamene installed new monitoring tools (which led to pre-Crowdstrike hacking concern.)
3/ Fusion doesn't appear to have been hired on Apr 20. Fusion book doesn't give exact date and perhaps inconsistently says that Fusion team was "soon hired" and that "formalizing engagement ... would take weeks".

In the early 1980s, if you couldn’t afford a (ridiculously expensive) Xerox 860 word processor will a “full page” display, you could save some money by buying a Xerox 850, with a “half page” display.

(The 850 was still ridiculously expensive.)
Magnavox Plasma display from 1978! Great name, really impressive, and probably very expensive… and yet still with a very thick bezel taking half of the responsibility of making it look awesome.
