The uniparty (Dem and GOP) demanded a special counsel back in 2017 because the gop side of uniparty controlled the house and couldn't be seen to be publicly calling for a Republican Pres to be impeached. They still investigated him.
Afrer Ryan gave the House away there was no longer any need for a fig leaf of a SC by the uniparty. The Dem house could now act like a SC. However, the uniparty forgot that the people aren't stupid and while it is not seen as the uniparty totally going after Trump as it....
....would have if the Ryan house did it; it is now seen as a totally partisan effort by many more than thought it was the uniparty. Further those that thought it was the uniparty are still convinced they are the ones doing it.
In other words, the uniparty's Gambit of giving control of congress to the Dems did not have the effect it was suppose to have. Part of that reason is that Trump won the Senate in 2018 over the uniparty's efforts to lose that Chamber too. Part of the reason is also because....
....it's still the same actors and no matter what "letter" they have after their name doesn't change that. It really doesn't matter to Trump supporters if the uniparty Rs or Ds are doing the coup. What matters to us is the coup attempt.
In fact, if you really think about it, their actions of losing the 🏠 to Dems actually strengthened Trump much like the Kavanaugh hearings because those Gopers that didn't like Trump rallied towards the party not the uniparty. Forcing the Quislings uniparty republicans...
