I’m late to the game today, but here is the full statement from AG Barr about the OIG report on the Carter Page FISA. 👇

FISA process was abused.

FBI misled FISA court and left out exculpatory facts.

Here is FBI Director Wray’s response and a summary of reforms.

FBI cooperated fully and stated that Crossfire Hurricane & related investigations were opened “for an authorized purpose and with adequate factual predication.”

Certain people within the FBI, however, did not comply with proper procedures.

FBI is going to change the processes to make sure they’re more complete, though it’s not specified exactly how.

When FBI Headquarters runs an investigation instead of field offices, the FBI will require prior approval by the Deputy Director & consulation with the Asst Director in charge or SAC in charge.

Re: the Confidential Human Source program:

FBI will make changes to how they collect, document, and share info about those sources, those no specifics are provided.

New protocols are being created for FBI's participation in ODNI counter-intel transition briefings for Presidential candidates.

More training (blah blah) for FBI personnel who handle CHS and FISA

And FBI will review the conduct & performance of particular FBI employees referenced in the OIG Report who are still employed by FBI.
