The full House will vote to impeach Trump next week. And then we move to what @senatemajldr Mitch McConnell has announced via @foxnews will be a rigged trial in the Senate, where he has guaranteed acquittal. But he can't take away the stain of impeachment from @realDonaldTrump.
The question then becomes, what price will voters extract from Senate Republicans who vote to acquit a guilty president? And what does it look like when Trump has to run in 2020 as yet another rich, powerful man who got away at trial because he and his boys rigged the system.
