HOW A MOTH WITH BOSOMS SHOWS ME THAT “STUPID”
PEOPLE ARE SMARTER THAN SUPPOSEDLY INTELLIGENT CORBYNITES

(Thread)
When we made the Channel Four show Celebrity Bedlam I discovered that the most gullible people weren’t the most “stupid” - it was those who were more intellectual. They were by far and away the most easy to manipulate and lead a merry path towards utterly stupid propositions.
Those who were supposedly more “stupid” were much quicker to reject something that was obvious bullshit. “Whatever” they’d say and that was that. But the intellectuals had brains that sought to rationalise information they received.
They wanted things to make sense and tried to join dots in their minds. And so they found an internal way of making the utter nonsense I was feeding them seem plausible.
So when I showed them a fake moth with human bosoms - they accepted it as a real biological phenomenon after I gave them some dots to join
I described the moth’s bosoms as “flight ballast” that help balance its flight and also said that a moth’s bosoms store milk so they can survive in winter when there are no flowers with nectar available.
And they believed it - even though they’ve seen moths all their lives and know they don’t have bosoms. (I assume they also know insects don’t produce milk and breastfeed their young).
But they wanted to make the dots they were given connect and so they were prime patsies. Gullible as fuck. And they believed that there were moths flying around with massive tits.
In this election, ordinary Brits are the ones who can immediately see Corbyn is a wrong ‘un, a liar and full of shit from the start. They’re not gullible. They’re not stupid. Their instincts for a con were spot on.
But the supposedly educated Jeremy Corbyn fans - the intellectual Guardian readers - are people who can see a picture of Jeremy Corbyn laying a wreath for terrorists with their own eyes and still believe he wasn’t laying a wreath for terrorists simply cos he spun them a line.
They can see him call terrorists his friends, his brothers, refuse to condemn IRA violence - and still believe he’s not a terrorist sympathiser simply because he spun them a line.
They can see him praise an antisemitic mural, embrace a man who says Jews drink blood of children, fund holocaust deniers, accuse Jews of not getting irony, and even though they see all this information -they still believe he’s not an antisemite simply because he spun them a line
He gave them dots which allowed them to rationalise out of existence the things they could see with their own eyes - helped along of course by a massive dose of confirmation bias.
So the next time you see a Corbynite living in a world of complete delusion - fervently championing some absurd reason why the election failure wasn’t their fault - I invite you to think of a moth with big tits.
And here’s the video where that happened:
