@threadreaderapp Labour will not win on its own - move to Federalism - each nation fully independent agreeing to share a handful of reserved powers on: common defence, pollution, crime - may be a couple of others - but everything else goes to the Celtic regions near independence but not quite
@threadreaderapp Federalism leads naturally to a written constitution, cross party agreement, judge/expert led analysis - into which 'freedoms/rights' progressives share can be squirted as the document emerges. Also the framers would be lauded (includes progressives too)
