In 2013, Asuka was involved in a feud with JWP ace Arisa Nakajima where she declared her love for Arisa and named her nº1 contender.

This is their last match before the big event.

Asuka's performance before, during and after the match is something to behold.

It's a tag match. Kana & Meiko Satomura vs Arisa Nakajima & Hanako Nakamori.

Before war begins, Kana has a present for Arisa.

Arisa is on the corner. The battle can start now.

Kana uses every moment she can to impress Arisa.

Meiko fights Arisa during some minutes but she tags Kana! What now?

Has Kana the strength to fight?

Arisa isn't going to hold back. That's for sure.

Arisa makes the tag.

Nakamori is legal! Green light to attack.

Arisa & Meiko are fighting now, but Arisa sustains a very bad injury on her shoulder and isn't 100%.
She's no rival for Meiko Satomura.

Meiko doesn't care. She keeps with the punishment and goes for the pin!

Arisa isn't the ace of JWP for nothing. She manage to fight back and throws Meiko to the floor. Kana has a chance.

It's Kana & Arisa again. Kana is about to snap but, but...

Meiko had enough on this nonsense. Are we fighting or what?

Arisa tries to end the match and then...

Kana has the mic. I don't know japanese but this sounds...creepy.

After the match Kana is heartbroken. Not only her tactics didn't work, she hurt Arisa.

Usually cheerful, Kana kept in character even during the meet & greet post-match.

And that's it.

Asuka managed to boost the big event vs Arisa (JWP last big event of the year) and started a fire with Meiko Satomura for their encounter 3 months later IN ONE MATCH.
