With Christmas approaching & most people getting some time off work, I thought I’d try to give some value.

If you’ve ever wanted to start a creative project of any kind - music, art, or side hustle. An idea you’ve had forever but never pursued - incoming thread just for you 😊
1. Start it today no matter what. Small imperfect actions taken everyday compound into huge results, and you build priceless skills & knowledge along the way.

If you’re waiting for a better time or better equipment, you’ll be waiting forever.
2. Inspiration can be manufactured by just sitting down and starting. You don’t have to wake up inspired.

Do a little bit every day. Set one small goal for each day and knock it over. Chances are momentum will carry you further, but a small measurable win each day works wonders.
3. You’ll probably suck for a while, everyone does. Practice, refine, practice again. Just produce as much as possible.
4. Don’t reach out to established people for ‘collabs’. If they have a public product, chances are they’re miles ahead of you in the practice department.

If you must, reach out to someone on your level to work and learn with.
5. Focus on refining your skills and ideas, not on getting exposure. Exposure is probably the last thing you want as you’ll be progressing quickly over time. Months later you’ll look back and be embarrassed by your old work.
6. There’s a bunch more but that’ll do for a start 😊 bottom line is just start whatever it is you’re thinking of. Set a routine, learn as you go and your path with naturally shift as you discover what you like/dislike, and where your strengths lie 🚀

Good luck!!
