Even after America elects a blatantly racist president who picks a freaking white nationalist as his chief policy adviser, there are still some people who refuse to see it. “He’s a fighter and people like a fighter,” they say, ignoring the real reason for Trump’s rise.
Because Trump is actually as far from a fighter as a human can be. He’s a miserable coward who runs away from every real challenge, and has failed at everything he’s ever done, except being the most embarrassing impeached president in US history.
Is he the “worst” president? Hard to objectively measure that. There’s a lot of competition for that sad title. But he’s down there with the worst of the money-grubbers and con men, and may be much, much worse — because we still don’t know the extent of his crimes.
