OK, if you insist. What I don't like about Joe Biden being the nominee, if he is, which I hope not.
• He's tried before and failed.
• He's astoundingly gaffe-prone.
• He's the epitome of the old-school corporate Democrat, and I do mean old.
• He's tried before and failed.

• He's the epitome of the old-school corporate Democrat, and I do mean old.
• He has some really not-good baggage in his political past (see: Anita Hill).
• And more recently, he seriously pissed me off by calling Mike Pence a decent guy. Mike Pence is not a decent guy and nobody should ever call him that.

This last point, to me, is a sign of Biden's membership in the decrepit old-boy political power network that needs to be refactored. Possibly dismantled, if our political system is ever going to be healthy again.
I don't hate Joe Biden at all; in fact, I like him more than a lot of politicians.
But I just think at this point he should retire after a very long and successful career. He's had his day. Time to let some much needed new blood into the game.

And I'll conclude by saying that if he does end up the nominee, of course I'll vote for him.
